2 years later...

It's been a couple years since I've given any glimpse into what makes me tick...at least here on this blog so I'm gonna catch you up quickly. I moved from Jacksonville,AL to Memphis, TN to live while I was in my first year of Pharmacy school at UT-Memphis. I did all I could at Jacksonville and was so happy to move towards what I want to do with my life. A lot of my friends have gotten married, had children, and basically grown up. My parents are doing well and my brother is engaged. I am living in Arab right now until I move to Knoxville for the next couple years to continue my pursuit of a pharmacy degree. My obsession with collecting DVDs has diverged in another direction...used books. Actually more specifically, used romance novels. I like to scour all used books stores looking for that next feel-good book that I can read in my spare time. I also have been cross-stitching like a fiend. I am the stitcher of the month for July at Stitcher's Haven in Guntersville, AL. All my beautiful finished pieces are on display there all month. Stop by if you're in the area. Let's see what else...I have discovered that the Monaco Pictures Prive movie watching experience is the only way to watch a movie. Totally worth the $10 the ticket costs. And finally for now, I'm enjoying my summer and trying not to think about August 20th. Hopefully I will be able to remember to post more often and keep you all updated with the happenings of my life! By the way, my new favorite author/woman's woman Jen Lancaster. She has written Bitter is the New Black, Bright Lights Big Ass, and Such a Pretty Fat. Whe is quippy and hilarious. She doesn't hold anything back and it's refreshing and wonderful. The girl that would be an awesome best friend. Check her books out asap. All for now.
